Busy Bike Day

Well it was a very busy Motorcycle day.
The local chapter of the HOG organization met at 10:00am, the meetings last 1 hour only and 109 people were in attendance. Some of the business is serious while there is a lot of very light joking  around. This is a very much older group of people. The president of the chapter is a retired Toronto Police officer, he loves this position and likely puts in a 40 hour week working for the members.
After the meeting there was a ride for Fallen Police Officers, proceeds from the ride to a family help fund. The ride was police escorted, blocked intersections, that sort of thing, probably a dozen Motorcycle Police required to do the job. The ride started with a blessing of the riders and the ride, the police explained where we were going and how the ride would work, very neat indeed. We had in excess of 100 bikes on the ride that extended at least 1 mile. We were all to stay in the right hand lane for this 30 mile ride. The police would block major intersections and stop lights to all other traffic. Once the last motorcycle in the group had passed by the police would speed by the group in the left lane to there next intersection, lights on and sometimes sirens going, it was well organized and very neat. Participants in the ride included our HOG organization, the Blue Knights and the Riders for Christ along with a few pickups. We sped along the roads at well over the posted speed limits, very, very NEAT, I want to do another big Police escorted ride.
After the ride I headed to the Flagler Gun Show, the place was packed, you can buy anything in the way of a gun in the country. I tried to take some pictures inside the gun show but was told that pictures at such an eveny are not appreciated, I put the camera away.
Today's pictures from the ride, only kind of sorry I was on the bike and not at the side of the road to take pictures.
