Well Sunday morning and it was off to Prayer Meeting. I turned out of the parking garage and it was pouring rain, a U turn to the shelter of the garage. I knew there would be a crowd for prayer so I headed to the condo for the car keys and poof the rain stopped. I waited a bit and hit the road on the bike with an 80% chance of rain, it never happened and the skys cleared to a high 70's F, great.
I arrived at the Iron Horse and most of my crowd was there but generally the place was empty, it did fill later. We assumed our positions in the tree house an elevated area where you can see the activities, great spot. A Blue Grass band showed up, they were great, we people watched, bike watched and chatted each other down. At 12:45 Patty and I headed over to see the Wall of Death Motorcycle show, the high point of the day for me. This is an old school motorcycle and go cart show where they ride around a vertical wall at speed. One fellow rides to the top of the wall and grabs dollar bills out of your hand as he passes by and does it until all the money has been collected, what great fun. I only had my little camera so pictures were almost impossible at the speed these folks ride.
Lunch, fried cut steak, mushrooms, onions and potatoes, YUM!
Off for a little ride with 4 other bikes and a stop at one of the bikers homes for a pop.
Home to the condo in the dark, busy full fun day!
