Well Sunday was Prayer Meeting day as well as the Daytona 500 day so I was unsure as to who would show up for the meeting. A few folks did not show but a couple I had not met showed up nice people.
I started by heading to J&P Cycle to ask some questions about my broken header on the bike, they were not overly knowledgeable, guess I am not surprised. I think I will wait a couple of more days for a response from the manufacturer and then just go and buy a new header.
Off to the meeting, nice warm bright sunny morning, lots of BS going around it was fun.
Off to lunch at 3 Bananas in Crescent City, the ride leader knew some back roads, nice ride, lunch was good. We had choices for the ride home but one of the ladies, a new rider did not want the twists on the planned route home. Yes twists in a road in Florda, I have yet to see this so I plan to head back and have a look.
I did not make it home to see the end of the 500 but I hear there were lots of wrecks and it was excitting.
