Cold, Dark, Wet Day

It was a cold, dark, wet day and I arose to a no heat situation in the house. I decided to wait before putting in a service call because I wanted to play a few holes of golf before any precipitation started to fall from the sky's.
Off we went, hardly anyone at the golf course but that was not a real surprise. We played about 12 holes before the rain and ice pellets started, off to the club house we went, enough was enough. Off to home where I called in a service call on the furnace. The fellow arrived about 6pm and was gone by 6:30pm, I had heat. SH-T, I arose this morning NO HEAT again. I can't even call in for a service appointment, the service telephone lines are all down, Great Customer service from Direct Energy. More to come I guess.
I enjoyed the company of some friends last evening as we were celebrating a 65th birthday of a friend. His wife had arranged a large gathering of friends at a local Mess and a Scottish Birthday celebration took place, music included, very nice indeed.
