Busy Neighborhood

Busy neighborhood.
Last week we had a storm which saw a lot of tree damage and the folks across the  street without p[ower for more than 24 hours.
Late yesterday afternoon it sounded like a bomb went off, the power at my house went down for about a minute and once again the power across the street was out.
I went for a walk to see if I could find what had happened.
Sure enough on the next block a panicked tree removal contractor had dropped a tree across the power lines.
POOF, the lines were down and the big fuses blown.
Power was restored by Ottawa Hydro late last night.
I chatted with the supervisor, he said a large bill was pending for the contractor, hope he was insured!
