Just One More Nice Day

It turned out to be kind of a busy day.
There was a motorcycle swap meet that I wanted to attend so I was off around 8:00am in the morning.
I should have left a few minutes earlier and I could have saved some money.
I was looking for bag bars for the bike, I saw a set in a fellows hands, he had just picked up the only pair on site and was about to pay for them. As it turned out he is an eBay re-seller and I had to negotiate a new price with him, he was a tough cookie. In any case he turned over the pieces to me and made a great profit after owning the parts only a few minutes. Kind of my bad luck for missing a good deal but I still made an ok deal.
Now it was Sunday and that means prayer meeting day. I tried to call a cell phone to say I was going to be late but alas no answer. I rode over to the meeting spot just in time to catch up with the group as they were about to leave.
Off for a great ride and BBQ brisket for lunch, I like BBQ, it was good.
Stopped at CT & Teresa's place for a beer, led to a second beer and darkness outside.
Back to the bike, it was soaking wet from a heavy dew that had set in. I enjoyed a nice quiet ride heading south down the A1A along the ocean to the condo. Kind of a lonely sort of funny ride, damp ground fog with a mostly full moon above. If there had been a grave yard it could have been a scary plot from a movie.
