Ride Week!

Frontier Bar

Around the fire.

On the deck

Well  I have been out on a couple of fair rides this week.
On Thursday we were off to Ocala so the service could be done on Teresa's new Sporty. We left just before 7:30am in the morning to be there for 9:00am. It was cold leaving Daytona, about 47f but as we approached the Ocala forest the temperature plunged to around the mid 30'sf. I was cold, CT was cold and Teresa was frozen by the time we reached the Harley dealer. We did not realize how cold Teresa was, she shook for a good 30 minutes while warming up. A very silly move on all of our behalfs, Teresa was on the edge of Hypothermia, bad stuff. By afternoon the temperatures were in the low 60's f and we enjoyed a good ride home.
Yesterday I rode with the HOG members to a fishing camp in Walaka, great spot on the St John's river. It was a cool overcast day so it was very quiet around the camp. We enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich, told some lies and hit the road. We stopped at  the Frontier  bar and grill some miles down the road. Great big old place with a fire going out back where we enjoyed a beverage around the fire. This place is in the middle of no where but seems to survive. Florida is full of these kinds of places.
I arrived back at the condo just before dark as a few rain drops were starting to fall.
It was a good day.
