New Year Eve!

Beer Buddy was Rumored to be still celebrating from Christmas!

Well New years Eve was spent on Main Street Daytona from about 9:00pm to 1:00am.
The place was real busy, lots of people of all descriptions from new born babies to the old folks in wheel chairs.
This is a very different crowd form bike crowd, not nearly as much exposed body work  here although there were lots of young girls dressed in short tight dresses wearing stilettos, not that I noticed .
Lots of bands on Main street that could be heard from miles around, some good, some not so good. We hung out in different places kind away from the brunt of the noise. We enjoyed only a couple of beers, neat place just walk up and down the street with your open beer. Lots of people watching that was for sure, no camera with me being as I left the camera in my golf bag locked up at the golf club and the place was locked up for the night.
Midnight count down, a large lite ball was lowered from a crane, kind of hokey but neat, followed by a good display of fire works over the beach.
By 12:30 the street was emptying.
The crowd was reported to be 25,000 people.
All in all a great evening.
Happy new Year to all!
