Wet Morning

My Ammunition Purchase.

Well for the first time in a long time we had some rain in the Daytona area, .25 of an inch to be exact but it was warm.
I did some running around in the morning which included a stop at Walmart where I picked up some ammunition for next weeks planned shooting outing. I picked up 100 rounds of 9mm and 100 rounds of 380auto. You have to love Florida, ask for what you want pay the price and walk out the door, no questions asked.
The weather cleared in the afternoon so I hit the beach for a walk, very nice.
Upon arriving back at the condo there had been an accident in front of the building, not sure what really happened but an old guy in a Crown Vic had hit and seriously injured a young fellow on a bicycle, all very sad.
Police jurisdiction is something else down here, the Volusia County Sheriff and the Volusia Beach Patrol were first on site and took care of the accident victim. About half an later the Florida Highway Patrol showed up, I guess the A1A is their   jurisdiction, they spent the next 2 hours measuring, filling out reports and calling a tow truck to pick up the wrecked bicycle, yup a great big Flat Bed Tow truck. Way to much excitement for me.
