| The Ride Group and our Servers! |
Winter has sort of arrived in Florida at least for a couple of days.
Yesterday was windy and cool, this morning it is only 36f outside the window with a high of 56F, yes winter for Florida. By mid week we should be back in the high 70's, bring it on Baby!
Yesterday was ride day, good fun!
The Tilted Kilt Pub
February 11, 2012 we will call it Rudy’s ride, the destination The Tilted Kilt Pub in Lake Mary.
It was one of the few winter type day’s we have experienced in Florida so far this winter, lots of leather , and cloths showed up for this ride, oh yes Gloria was wearing sock and boots for this ride, never seen that before.
Before we left for the ride Rudy pulled out a plastized Road Captains check list and went through items I have never heard of before, good job Rudy (I guess).
Off we went to pick up a group in Osteen, a quick hi how are you and off we went.
The winds were high and you could see some leaning against the wind, all in all not too bad.
Rudy rode us through some nice areas of Lake Mary, I am sure the locals were not real happy to see/hear us.
Good ride to the Tilted Kilt pub where they were ready for us.
Yes the young servers were way too much for the old group of men, Lou was heaving coasters on the floor to see if he could get the young girls to bend over and pick them up, good job Lou!
Patty offered to take a job at this eatery, we guessed she applied for a job as Den Mother; she was worried about all of the dirty old men.
Lunch was good, nice that the pub let you tip and did not automatically add on a gratuity, I like this approach.
A group picture with the girls all good fun.
The trip home, a bunch of us hit the I4 and we were off, until the next time, oh yes, thanks Rudy!
