What a difference a day can make, it was cold and windy yesterday just a couple of days after we had record hot temperatures. It is all about the direction of the winds down here, south wind warm, north/east wind cold, that seems to be the pattern.
I lucked out on my chosen day to sit at the NASCAR races. Today for the Daytona 500 it promises to be cool with a very good chance of rain, I will watch form a nicely located TV somewhere inside.
Yesterday was the monthly HOG chapter meeting, these are usually good fun as this one was and entertaining as well.
After the meeting there was a ride to Gainsville, about 100 miles each way. I decided I would not enjoy the ride due to the temperature and the wind so I opted out. I stay at the restaurant with handful of HOG members and had lunch and a beer. It was a great way to spend some time, all good fun.
