Bike Week Day 5

Outstanding weather day, I was on the road some 200 miles today and in spite of the sunscreen burnt my face all to pieces.
Also a busy day, up early to help escort a Ladies Ride from Beach Street, down Main Street back across the bridge to Beach street, down the backside of the loop to Destination. Between 250 and 300 lady riders, all very cool.
After that off to meet up with friends and off to Cape Canaveral for lunch at the Tiki Bar, great ride which included the Merritt Island Ride.
Hot on the way back towards Main Street so stopped for an Adult beverage on the US 1. If you have never been to Florida you need to know that there are little local bars and grills all over the place, more than I have ever seen anywhere else, great place to ride.
Main Street on a Tuesday was just busy enough to be interesting but far from being crowded. All of the long time local spots complete with bands were hopping. The crowds were not shoulder to shoulder as I have seen in the past. It looked like you would be able to ride down Main Street rather quickly.
I am guess that the crowds will pick up towards the end of the week.
