Busy Saturday

Kind of a SAD event. Saturday I played in a charity golf tournament (my second game only since being in Florida) for a buddy/fellow golfer who is suffering from terminal cancer. All very sad, this is a young man with family. All we Canadians should be thankful for our health care system even as it may be. My friend Ken and his family are very stressed out over the US system or lack thereof.
Oh well unto Christmas, two party's on Saturday, one with my Sunday ride group and friends of, great gathering, unfortunately the party was just getting going and I had to leave, thanks Chris and Alice!
Off to the Daytona HOG Christmas party taking place at the Daytona 500 Race track tower buliding.
What a nice place to have a party, big room, well decorated, good staff and great food. The only downside was the booze for Florida was a but pricy, but not by Canadian standards.
Lots of members I had never seen before, some 125 folks showed up for the party, everyone received a gift based upon how often you rode with the club. Dinner was outstanding, the presentations not to long winded, the dance floor crowded, the party rocked on.
At was in to the boot tops by 11pm and off towards home, slept like a rock, one more big day, all good fun.
