Christmas day in Daytona Beach was great. Even though the sky's were overcast most of the day it was warm (mid to high 70's F), sun once in a while and no rain.
As has been my Christmas day for the past few years I played golf with friends at the Daytona Golf Course, a very nice track. The course is closed Christmas day so lots of folks show up for a free round of golf. The course was in very nice condition with fast greens. I played really bad on the front 9 and very well on the back 9. My playing partner and I manged to win 90 cents in dimes by the end of the round so a good playing day.
Rachel had the small group back over to the condo for a late afternoon full turkey dinner, I love turkey, my second meal of turkey in the past two days, it was very good.
I brought over a very nice bottle of wine and the day was all but complete. I started in the early morning and drove home in the dark.
One more wonderful day.
No golf pictures as I have been banished from taking pictures around this group but a buddy bird standing around in the water let me take one of him.
