Busy couple of Days

CT & Teresa

Fishers on the river, these guys are good!

Patty & I

Busy couple of days. The early mornings have been cool but the days have warmed up quickly and today Sunday we could possibly make it into the high 70's, not bad for January.
I have been on the bike for the past 3 days putting in some seat time.
Friday we were at the Flagler Airport for a wonderful lunch in the sun on one of the outdoor covered picnic tables. It is always fun at this location watching the planes come and go. On this particular day  the US military decided to fly in with a Chinook Helicopter so the crew could have lunch. What a big impressive machine.  After the boys had lunch they put on a bit of a low level hovering exercise before flying off, all kind of like a personal airshow event, good fun.
Yesterday after the HOG meeting we decided not to ride with the HOG but off on our own. We ended up at the St John's River Marina restaurant in Deland, all unplanned.  The last time we were there it was closed, this time it was re-opened as of last Tuesday, what luck. What a beautiful day to sit on the deck at the river, watch the fishermen and have a wonderful relaxed lunch. It is worth mentioning that a part of the lunch experience was the server Jody, she was a treat, it did not hurt that she was easy to look at.
We wandered back towards home via the back country roads.
One more great day in the books.
