Man it is COLD

The Quilt!

Yes it is cold in Florida right now (36F). Cold and windy yesterday (Saturday), the day our Daytona HOG group was holding our primary fund raiser for the year. It was at least sunny. The turn out for the event was much better than was expected because of the weather. We had some silly games, pulled pork BBQ for lunch, 50/50 draws and an auction for a handmade Harley Quilt. I had $250 in my pocket and started into the bidding but quickly the bidding was out of my range. The quilt finally sold for $1600, all of the money to Camp Boggy Creek, our chapters charity.
In spite of the weather the turn out was good, a fair bunch of money was raised and for the most part fun was had by all.
This morning is supposed to be a ride to a Sea Food Festival, I may pass.
Oh yes it is supposed to warm up coming into the start of Bike Week late this week.
