Oscar the Golfer, Down and Out!
It was a damp/wet overcast day in the great Canadian world of golf. A few of the boys showed up and we managed to play 18 holes while dodging the rain drops. All in all not a bad walk on the course.
This year sees the golf clubs first casualty. Oscar the clubs long time Pro Shop Guardian was struck down on the fist Saturday of golf by an over zealous golfer who claims he hit the gas instead of the brake of a power golf cart, jumped the railway ties and struck Oscar down. The plans are to repair Oscar’s broken leg and re-erect him at his post!
