Rainy Day, NOT!

Corrado with his home away from home.

Work & Play at Tomoka State Park.

Well they called for heavy rain yesterday and a big tornado watch was on so lots of peoples pans were changed as a result of the forecast.
My St Catherine's crowd is in town so when the cell phone rang and it was not raining outside we decided to hit the road for a lunch ride. We enjoyed a nice ocean ride to an inlet Pub that they had never been to before, the place was empty and we had the back deck to ourselves. We enjoyed lunch and lingered in the sun on the waters edge just shooting the breeze, it was a great catch up.
On the ride towards home my buddy Corrado turned of his bike and the starter would not engage, not good.
I tried to push start the bike but could not get enough speed, SH-T. A young fellow driving by in a work truck saw what was up and stopped, he joined into the push start effort and the bike started. By this time our riding partners had turned around and joined us.
All was well we headed to the groups trailer parking site, life was good.
I think I will ride with the group a couple of more times before they head home.
