Busy Weekend

Main Street garage/Biker watering hole!

The Unlit Daytona Christmas Tree.

OK, one hot Rod Picture.

Yup It has been a busy weekend in the area, Thanksgiving day all was very quiet in the the area. This is one of the few US Holidays where things really do close down. I enjoyed a great day with friends as briefly outlined in the previous post. The Turkey Rod Run started last Thursday. This is a large 4 day gathering on restored cars, Hot Rods, Rat Rods and just about anything with and engine in it that you could possibly think of. I have a whack of pictures from the one day I spent at and around the event that I will not bore you with.
Last evening was the Daytona Christmas Parade and lighting of the tree. Off we went to Main street  for the parade which was kind of hokey but fun. We walked down the street to see the lighting of the Christmas Tree. They spent so much time in the preamble to the lighting we left and did not see the lighting. We decided chicken wings and beer was a better idea. I will go back and get a picture of the tree when i do my area Christmas light drive.
It is a bit cool in the area but a warming trend is on the way for next week, "Ya Baby"!
