GRUB RUN

One of the local Law firms hold a Motorcycle run around Christmas every year to collect non perishable food for a local food bank, the Grub Run.
I joined my local HOG members and off we went with our food loaded on the bikes. I had about 15lbs of goods while one of our members and his (dressed as Mr & Mrs Claus) in today's pictures trailer in over 300lbs behind there bike. Our Chapter won the most food dropped off so next year we get to lead the Police Escorted ride. I like these Escorted Ride that involved about 15 Police Bikes that block all of the intersections and main roads so we have a non stop 20 mile ride. Lots of folks hear the bikes coming and line the roads and wave at the group of 200 or so bikers, good fun. Oh yes the police have fun as well, they run down the left lane at speed with the lights and sirens  going to block the next intersection. The final destination what else, a biker bar where a light lunch was provided. It turns out the biker community brought in over 3000lbs of food for the food bank, not bad.
It was a fun day for sure.
