New Years Day Ride

Part of the large Ride Group!

Well the morning of January 1 2013 brought with it some suspect weather, high overcast clouds and was kind of cool.

This did not seem to bother or stop some 35 HOG bikes and some 40 plus folks from showing up at the Beach Street parking lot for a ride to the north!

OK not too far North just OC Whites in St Augustine.

The mood of all of the folks was festive and happy, no talk of hangovers from the night before, perhaps the crowd all went to bed pre-midnight, who really knows!

Greg the Road Captain for the ride quickly sized up the group dividing it into 3 ride groups for the ride north. One quick stop at Destination where we picked up Mike and Sandy.

On the road northward, the sun poked out and it warmed up.

Arriving at OC Whites the parking lot attendant was waiting for us, we all quickly parked and headed upstairs, again we were being waited for.

A few more members had already arrived so I would say we were in the order of 50 folks for lunch.

The afternoon progressed and folks started to head back to the south, well some of us anyway, Mike and Sandy headed for a short ride to home in St Augustine.

It was a good turn out, good safe ride and a Great Day.

Oh Ya, Tom once again found the owner/manager of OC Whites and sold them a page in the 2013 Ride Book, look out for this Tom Guy, I think he sells used cars as well, good job Tom!
