3 Bananas

February 16, 2013 and guess what? It is the start to Speed Week and the weather has turned to cool heading towards cold

Yup the HOG had scheduled a ride 3 Bananas in Crescent City and I was the Road Captain. Early in the week I called ahead to book for 20 people with the restaurant.

Saturday morning I headed over to Beach Street almost expecting to be the only bike there, it was cold after the mid 80’sf we had earlier in the week. Wrong a few bikes were waiting and as the 11:00am departure time approached more bikes kept coming. I think we left Beach Street with 20 or so.

What a surprise. We did a pick up at Destination and picked up 12 more bikes, WOW I guess everyone wanted to ride to eat on the Cool Saturday morning.

I called 3 Bananas and upped the reservation, no problem.

After a short 40 mile ride we arrived at 3 Bananas to find 4 more folks waiting for the group.

We were set up outside on the heated patio and received great service while enjoying good food, conversation and as always some laughs.

Turned out to be a great day!
